The best part of the night was always the middle of it. So we cut the waiting. Golden Hour is a proper dance party at the hour you actually want one. Doors at 6. Lights up at 9 - and you get your evening back. Del Stamp is behind the decks - two decades of reading rooms, resident DJ at Vancouver's Pumpjack Pub - playing three hours built for exactly this one: the ones you know, the ones you'd forgotten, and not a single lull. No show. No stage time. The floor doesn't stop. Just FruitCake the way FruitCake has always been: a DJ, a full room, and three hours of music that never asks you to sit down. Everyone's welcome. Nobody's up at 2am. Fifty people. That's the whole room. Advance is the only way to be sure. FAQ - Golden Hour Is there a drag show? No. Both dance party events on Sept 26 are DJ dance parties. There are no drag performances at either one. If you're coming for a show, check our calendar - we've got plenty. What time should I actually show up? Doors at 6. The floor is going by 7. We're a fifty-person room, so late arrivals may be waiting. Does this ticket get me into Back Door too? No. They're separate events with separate tickets. We clear the room at 9:00pm sharp and reopen at 9:30 for Back Door. If you've bought both, you'll step out at 9 and come back through the line like everyone else. Can I leave and come back? Yes, no second cover. But you rejoin the line in arrival order - one line, no exceptions. Is there a patio? Yes, open until 11pm. No smoking or vaping on it. Where can I smoke or vape? Not on the patio, not in the line, and not near the doors - BC law requires six metres from any doorway, window or air intake. Staff will point you to the spot. Age? 19+, photo ID required.
